LOVE Bing and Bob--- big fan. LOVE Bugs and Daffy-- big fan. They are two great teams.

Although I know where you're coming from, those are three of my absolute favorite movies and I never get sick of them, so I was glad to see them on the schedule. To each his own, I guess.

Can't wait to see your schedule, Kingrat. And I think I do feel Fannuy a lot.

Ooooo, who would I invite? I'd have to think about this one. Great idea.

A friend of mine showed me one today. Her mother got it from a friend who once worked for Selznic, back in the 40s/50s. She got a personalized autographed photo of Tyrone Power with a typed explanation from the friend who got it (the friend called him Ty). It was so cute!

Yay! Another great schedule! You made by day tributing Plunkett, my fav costume designer. ANd Yellow Submarine is definitely a cult film-- inspired choice. Lots of good stuff in there. James Mason definitely doesn't get enough praise, but then, Thomas Mitchell is often ignored as well, so double yay!
Well, day #8 and already we have three very worthy opponents. I hope everyone else is working hard on their schedules. Can't wait to see what else y'all come up with!

Yay! My favorite actress ever! Excellent choice!

Don't know about "best", but I did watch Dear Brigitte with Bill Mumy as a math genius in love with Brigitte Bardot. So fun and entertaining. And how can you beat Jimmy Stewart?
What would really make my life is seeing TCM show What's So Bad About Feeling Good. I have always wanted to see that one. Please, TCM?

I think we'd all love it if they brought back that contest.

As Shirley Temple would say, "Oh my goodness gracious!" I love your film festival idea. So clever! I especially love the "Con Film Festival" -- and not just because I love so many of those films, but because the name is a brilliant parody I wish i thought of. ANd Irving Berlin is a great choice for your challenge. What a huge amount of songs he wrote, and all of them awesome. And Laura is certainly an essential. But the greatest idea of them all-- the one that set me laughing-- was "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." Brilliant.
For the TCM Programmers-- please steal SansFin's idea and schedule The Reivers. I've wanted to see it ever since I heard excerpts from John WIlliams' amazing score at the Hollywood Bowl last summer. Please!

I have to laugh hysterically at this because you are completely right! It was in fact my sister who said so. How did you know my sister was like that? You must have sisters of your own.
And ugaarte, you are very kind!
