  1. King Arthur - Richard Harris in CAMELOT
  2. Gonzo the Great - Dave Goelz in THE MUPPET MOVIE
  3. Wow, this is great! You guys will get it then that I named my car *Rowsdower* ("Final Sacrifice") because it's broken down and white. We often ask it, "Rowsdower, have you ever bathed?" Although my absolute favorite is *The Pumaman* I love those mentioned! I also love Riding with Death and Time of the Apes. *Squirm* is absolutely awesome, I must agree. I love the overly southern line readings of the way too southern lines: "It sure was a dilly. I never saw so much thunder and lightning in my life!" And i must say that this is a great list of incredible episodes: Soultaker (with Joe Estaves) Girl In Gold Boots Time Chasers Zombie Nightmare* Space Mutiny Incredibly Strange Creatures (TBMUZ) Jack Frost Boggy Creek the Legend Continues Giant Spider Invasion Werewolf (also with great Joe Estaves) <--- we often say "You and Paul is in it for Fame and Fortune?" ...but I haven't seen these. But they must be great to be on that list, so I'll watch them soon: Horrors of Spider Island I Accuse My ParentsScreaming Skull
  4. Miyazaki a foreign film star as SOTM some cracking good cinema (like Manchurian Candidate and Remains of the Day) = something I want TCM to rip off
  5. Anyone else a fan of MST3K? I was just enjoying one of my fav episodes, "Jack Frost", and I thought I'd see who else spends way too much time watching bad movies with hilarious commentary. So for any MST3K fans out there: "This is where the fish lives!"
  6. Archimedes - Junius Matthews in THE SWORD IN THE STONE
  7. I've never heard of anyone that didn't like White Christmas or Danny Kaye. Crazy! It's personally one of my favorite movies ever, and one of my favorite songs from the movie.
  8. I second .....Mixed Up Zombies as the worst title ever and Remember the Night as the vaguest title for one of the best. As far as Star Wars I think the episode called "Attack of the Clones" is the dumbest ever-- sounds like a 1950s B-movie. Ick.
  9. Scott, good job on the schedule. Scheduled lots of my favorites. I think Donald O'Connor as SOTM is an inspired choice.
  10. skimpole, just a tip --- it's not that you have to have daytime themes, but schedules without daytime themes don't usually get many votes
  11. I can't believe I forgot Grover, one of my favorites! But I forgot a lot of muppets I love. I'm glad I got a discussion going, and got to see others' lists. This is fun!
  12. How I wish I could go to the movies on this day in 1939 rather than this actual day.
  13. Great job! You listed lots of movies I love in there. And a Chuck Jones tribute? Awesome! I definitely agree that Barefoot in the Park is an essential. But then Mildred Natwick makes everything she touches an essential.
  14. Rita Hayworth was in THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI with Orson Welles
  15. Estelle Winwood Samuel ___ Jackson Yankee Doodle Dandy quote: "I can still ___ any kid in town!" "Be___ the Beguine" + "It Ain't ___essarily So" Edited by: LonesomePolecat on Jun 2, 2011 5:09 PM
  16. Whitiker, Walt - Carl Reiner from THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING! THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING!
  17. Uncle Willie - Roland Young in THE PHILADELPHIA STORY
  18. Wow, that stuff is amazing. I feel like stealing it like Indiana Jones and saying "That belongs in a museum!"
  19. Ray Milland was in THE MAJOR AND THE MINOR with Ginger Rogers
  20. Queen of Hearts - Verna Felton in ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1951)
