I missed the very last ten minutes of PSYCHE 59 after it had already sucked me in. What happened?! I had to go basically after "the shocking revelation", then later saw her get her sight back and them sending the kids away. What happens at the end?

speaking of musical remakes, this one would be hilariously cool:
WEST SIDE MUPPETS
The Jets are the Sesame Street Muppets and the Sharks are the Muppet Show Muppets. Therefore Oscar the Grouch is Riff who gets Grover (Tony) to come to the dance where he meets Miss Piggy (maria). Kermit, being from both shows, plays Glad Hand. "Alright boys and girls!" But best of all, imagine "America" sung by the Shark girls, led by Anita played by Janice, sings to the Shark boys, led by Gonzo as Bernardo. Imagine Miss Piggy's confusion when she gets the message, "He killed your brother", delivered by Chino, played by Beaker. It all comes out "Meep meep meep meep!"

One of my all time favorite "lesser known" movies, *Remember the Night* , is one of my favorite screenplays, so here's two awesome quotes:
*QUOTE #1*
FRED: Maybe you're a kleptomaniac
BARBARA: No, no. Oh, they tried that once. But to be a kleptomaniac you can't sell any of the things you stole afterwards or you lose your amateur standing.
*QUOTE #2*
FRED: You mean you started that fire on purpose?
BARBARA: Well I wasn't aiming for the spittoon!
FRED: I suppose you know that's arson?
BARBARA: NO!! I thought that was when you bit somebody!
There is a wealth of quotes from that movie. What a great one!

Don't forget that The Apartment is a Christmas movie!
I would love to see more obscure movies at Christmas time. I too have fallen in love with lesser known Christmas movies that TCM has introduced to me such as Remember the Night, Fitzwilly, and A Holiday Affair.

I think the TV version of Oklahoma is actually much better than the film, but even if other disagree, it's still a great remake.
I see a point remaking a musical if the film was bad, or could have been done better. Camelot is a good example: remake that sucker!

Clue: One of these disney classics won Best Song. The other was from the movie that saved the studio. And the third became a title of a hit movie.

Was she really? Very interesting.
I also know that James Stewart didn't smoke, but did so on camera if the scene called for it, I think because back then people didn't realize how addicting it was, how bad for you it was, etc.

I enjoy "Prince and the Showgirl." That's a movie I only saw because I kept seeing a clip from it on TCM Scene It.
The best film I saw yesterday was definitely Raiders of the Lost Ark. Such an entertaining film. My father calls this the Ultimate Jewish Film, because God himself destroys the Nazis, the Jews greatest enemy of the 20th century at least, WITH the very Jewish artifact, the Ark of the Covenant. Plus, it's Spielberg. So there you go. But very interesting idea. It's not a perfect film, sometimes it's quite cheesy, but that's part of the fun!
