I have to say that Jane Fonda in "Klute" is possibly one of the most classic hooker roles ever played. The scene where she secretly checks her watch while she is with a customer is priceless!!

 

Anybody see Joan Crawford in "Rain"? Although one of her worst performances, she looks stunning playing the doomed Sadie Hawkins.

I am delighted to now receive TCM (my cable carrier recently made it available in the area of the Bronx I live in).

 

I am surprised and annoyed at the changes the programming folks at AMC have made. 99% of the time they are either screening:

 

1.) One of about 5 John Wayne movies that they play over and over and over again.

 

2.) Some John Hughes movies which, although enjoyable, is WAY too new to be called a classic!!!

 

or

 

3.) Some really obscure "Saturday Serial" film with nobody you ever heard of acting badly in bad lighting.

 

They need to invest in a better library!!!
