Very underrated little sci fi movie which has found a following on DVD the past few years. It starred Hugh Marlowe, Nancy Gates, Shawn Smith, Lisa Montell, and a very young Rod Taylor. Ms Montell has surfaced this year with a book about her days in Hollywood. She'll be making her first east coast appearance at Captain Celluloid's Movie And TV World Con III, scheduled for October 16-17 2010, at the Midtown Holiday Inn in New York City. The British version is the one with the extra footage, shot a few years after the film's original release, according to star Jimmy Hunt. Not only does he look taller in the scene, but his sweater seems to appear and disappear at will. lol Jimmy will be back for Con III on October 16-17 in New York City. Former child star Jimmy Hunt was so surprised by the fanfare at Con II, he decided to return for Con III later on in 2010. He didn't expect the turnout to be a big deal, and thought fans wouldn't remember him anyway. To quote Jimmy " I'll be happy to give away one autograph on this trip." He was pleasantly surprised, and thanked the Captain for having him be part of his coming out party. It was his first event ever, and hopefully not his last.
