  1. Tonight at eight PM, (EST) CBC is showing the 1951 version of Scrooge with Alastair Sim. I'm not in Canada but since I live in the Detroit area my cable gets CBC Windsor. It's not comercial free so I guess they will be ads for donut shops and snow tires, (but sadly none for Hockey Night In Canada.)

  2. But what happens if the Mayans are right?(well I guess well all know the answer to that question.)

It's actually December 21 in most of the world, but not the part where the Mayan Empire was located.

Lucky for me I've seen Panic In The Year Zero.

However, my birthday is on Saturday the 22nd.

  3. Although there is no official bio on Michael Rennie, he is mentioned on books about The 1966 Batman TV show since he played the Sandman.

According to Joel Eisner's Official Batman Book, the part was originally to be played by Robert Morely. Things didn't work out, the script was rewritten, and Michael Rennie got the part. The episode writer thought his performance was kind of stiff.

  4. *Whose Killing The Great Chefs Of Europe?*

1978, George Segal, Jacqueline Bisset, Robert Morley.

This is an obscure 70 film that has seem to vanished in the ether.

    However, *Spoiler Alert!*

The boses secretary did it. she thought all the chefs food was making her boss unhealthy.

  5. Yeah laugh at me for watching Lifetime Movies I don't care.

In the at 17 series there is also Accused At 17 and Dead At 17. As usual the seventeen year old in question is older, (Marie Avgeropolous from Fugitive At 17 was really a fugitive at 25.)

I guess another title for a lot of Lifetime films could be Cute Actress Trying To Build Her Resume Is In Peril. Another one could be You See Her In A Bra And Panties About Fifteen Minutes Into It.

Leaving Lifetime the Nicholas Cage / Bridget Fonda film It Could Happen To You was originally called Cop Gives Waitress One Million Bucks.

  6. Actually most Lifetime Movies seem have somewhat generic titles.

    For Example:

    Eight Days To Live

    Teenage Bank Heist

    Holiday Wishes

    Crazy For Christmas

    Look Again

    Stranger At The Door

    Ties That Bind

    Fatal Honeymoon

    Deadly Honeymoon

    Betrayred At 17

    Stalked At 17

Fugitive At 17 (On this channel it must be hard to be 17)

    A Nanny's Revenge

    The Perfect Nanny

    And a lot more

  7. I've seen F Is For Fake. That was made in the 70's and looks like it. Fake is another movie all together. It was a preview on a Netflix DVD on a film called High Road. Both Fake and the High Road were made in the last couple of years.

I've seen the Hoax. I wouldn't count it because a bio is not a piece of art, (maybe a piece of literature.) I'm sorry if I come of like a smart a**.

  8. I just saw a preview of a film called Fake about art forgery. This got me thinking about other movies about that subject. The only one I could recall was 1988 the Moderns with Keith Carridine. Can anyone other remember another film about fake art, (maybe a heist film?)
