I voted at a Salvation Army building. I was there at seven when the place opened. It took me about a hour to vote. They needed more parking.
(Funny you always hear about the Salvation Army but what about the Salvation Navy. Okay I ripped that off George Carlin.)

I'm only 44 so I don't recall the old time radio shows. However, I do remember listening to the CBS Radio Mystery Theater back in the 70's / 80's. I remember hearing a version of The Prisoner Of Zenda thinking it was an original story. Fred Gwynne, (Herman Munster) did a lot of voice for that show. EG Marshall was the host. In Deroit it was on Newsradio WWJ at 11 PM. I listen to it with the radio under my pillow.

I think George Sanders last movie role was Psychomania, about a motorcycle gang who comes back from the dead. Then he got bored.

On Wednesday November 7 at 10AM EST THIS TV, (TCM's misfit cousin) is showing The Norseman with Cornel Wilde. The movie stars Lee Majors as a Viking who travels to 12th century North America to look for his father, (who I assume is Cornel Wilde but I could be wrong.) Okay what I'm describing does not sound like classic material, but maybe there are some Cornel Wilde fans out there who could be interested in it?

I heard somewhere that the tried to get Cagney to play Eliza Dolittle father in My Fair Lady. However by the time they made that film he was a couple of years into retirement. I'm not sure where I head that story.

James Cagney as Vito Corleone would have just been weird.
However, I can see him playing the Sterling Hayden role.

Actually I was paying more attention to the cat.

I'm sure you can get it on DVD.

Is anybody out there watching American Horror Story Asylum? This season's story is very extreme for regular cable TV. Briarcliff make the hospital in The Snake Pit look like a nice theraputic place to get well.
My question actualy has something to do with old movies. During a violent storm a view of Cecil B Demile's Sign Of The Cross is shown to the patients. I don't recall this film being shown on TCM in a few years. does anyone remember it being shown? (From what they showed of it it doesn't look like a movie to show to the unstable.)

I never got into NCIS but it think Paulry Perette is cute. She was good in a film called The Price Of Kissing, (I got it on my DVR along with about 50 other films.)
(Our local ABC affiliate used to show odd IFC type films Saturday night at 2AM. I now get IFC so it doesn't really mater that they stopped showing them years ago. The Price Of Kissing was one of them.)

I got another white Marilyn halter dress sighting. Jamie King just showed up at a party in one on an episode of Hart Of Dixie.

Last year I started a thread about the religous TV anthology Insight, produced by Paulist Priest Ellwood (Bud) Kieser. I remember a few episodes featuring god as a character. The two actors I recall playing God as a character are Bob Newhart and Martin Sheen. (I haven't seen this show since 1994 so my memories of it are kind of foggy. I wish a religous channel would pick it up.)
Okay it's TV. Sue me.

About three months ago I saw a film called Nola with Emmy Rossum. It was full of behavior and characters that I could never understand. At the end Nola after revieviing stuning news of some sort, gets up, goes to a piano, and sings a song. (Actually Emmy Rossum, who was in Phantom Of The Opera, has a beautiful voice but the scenes was still a mess.)
Has anyone ever stumbled onto this thing on cable.

If you want to know Stephen King's thoughts on Movies, Tv, Bokks ,etc, you might want to pick up Danse Macabre, (although it's close to 30 years old.)

I don't think the lion share of porn is long enough, (pun unintended) to be called an actual movie. My cut off point for something to be called a film is 50 minutes.

I think Malin Akerman was born in Sweden. I guess she moved to Canada at some time.

The Presque Isle Inn And Convention Center in Presque Isle Maine has TCM. However, The hotels and motels I stayed in in Romulus Mi, Bangor ME, Calais Me, Augusta ME, Saugus Ma, and Boston Ma did not. (I took a two week tour of the East Coast three months ago.)
I think every placed I stayed had HBO, (I can't remember if the Calais Motor Inn did or didn't.)

On one of the last episodes of Quantum Leap Sam leaps into the body of Marilyn Monroe's chauffeur. It turn out her new assistant is trying to take her place in a film, (not sure which one). Sam has to save Marilyn, (even though her eventual fate is not changed.)
The assistant was played by Liz Vassey. She has done a lot of television, most notably Wendy Simms on the original CSI, (she's the DNA specialist with the dark hair and the bangs.) She look insanely beautiful in that iconic dress. I think my brain melted.

Rat Fink A Boo Boo has to be seen to be believed.

Next to Ralph Wiggum, (I look like cable TV) Troy McClure was probally my favorite Simpson character out the family.

This afternoon it watched the Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special episode, (make fun of my choice I don't care.) One of the Actress, (Ashley Benson who is now dating James Franco) went as Marilyn Monroe and wore the iconic white Seven Year Itch Halter dress. This made me think of a topic that might be kind of odd. How many movies and TV shows can you remember where an actress was wearing the forementioned dress?

Monkeybone. Lisztomania
(It's actually really hard to say.)

Growing up in the Detroit area there was a channel 78 from Canada that may have been all French, (it's been more than 30 years.) All I remember is that to get it it seemed I had to almost break the TV in some way.
I also miss a lot of the Canadian films on the CBC, (however I'm not a Canadian so it does not really what I think.)

Actually Jennifer Jason Leigh now has a prime time TV gig. She's Emily's / Amanada's mother on Revenge. (A show I recomend for people who miss prime time soaps. It's better than the New version of Dallas.)

Actually it was a Ukrainian wedding. The ceremony was Orthodox Christian and most Poles are Catholic.
I was filmed in St Theodosious Church in Cleveland Ohio. When I was planing my trip a few months ago I thought about going there. My plans changed.
