I've seen Phinneas And Ferb. Phinneas is kind of disturbing to look at. His head is basically a triangle.

Sorry folks, According to the Comcast guide The Disney Channel is not going to The Aristocats at that time. It has not been rescheduled. I've got to learn to take that guide with grain of salt.

For those looking for old, (relatively) Disney films The Aristocats will The Disney Channel at 4 AM Eastern Time Friday Morning. I've never seen it. It's rare that that channel is going that deep into the Disney catalog.

I saw it too and liked it. I came into it know barely anything about it which was kind of neat. I thought Adrian Brody was supposed to be Salvatore Dali.

I saw Patty Duke on a poster in a Social Security Office, (she turns 65 this year) next to George Sulu Takei. Even though she was wearing a Blue Original Star Trek shirt, I'm pretty sure she wasn't on that show.
Even stranger I got through my business in less than 15 minutes, (go early.)

The Hallmark Movie Channel occasionaly show a live action Disney movie. I saw The Happiest Millionaire there a couple of years ago, (however they have comercials.)

I kind of hate to tell you this, but Martha McMaster who played Emily Of New Moon, was in the remake of Last House On The Left. She was also in Superbad, (with Seth Rogan another Canadian.) I'm not going to tell you what happens to her, but it ain't pretty.

I saw Paul Gross in a World War I film last night called *Passendaele* which he also directed. He was also really good as the Jack Nicholson character in the short lived Eastwick series.
Another great Canadian film is *Last Night* dirceted by actor Don McKellar. Sandra Oh, David Cronenberg, And Genvieve Bujold are also in it. The ending is amazing.

Both David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser were in the movie version of Starsky And Hutch.
I didn't see it but Kim Richards had a cameo in the remake of Escape To Witch Mountain.

A Lifetime Movie is a TV Film Shown mostly on either the Lifetime Movie Network, or Lifetime itself on the weekends. They tend to feature women ages 25 to 45. Also they feature a scene where the actress does a semi erotic love scene with her in a bra and panties.

I've had dreams about movies that never existed. Usually when media enter my dreams it's about TV; Such as the 1966 Batman series. (I've been dreaming of that show for 35 years, I once had a dream that Stan Laurel was a villian, his name was in the yellow font.)
I've also had dreams about Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Usually it's about how I missed a bunch of episodes.

Does anyone remember Troy McClure from The Simrpsons? When Phil Hartman died he was written out of the series. He is the epitomy of a has been Hollywood actor who will pretty much do anything. My question is which actor from past is most like him?
I love the 1966 Batman series, but when Adam West did the voice of a talking toilet in a Saturday Morning cartoon I thought to myself "man he's become Troy McClure."
My two favorite Troy McClure films are "Man Vs Nature The Road To Victory and Leper

*A Tree Grows In Brooklyn* was on the CBC last year. Peggy Ann Gardner was on Batman
in the episode Ring Around The Riddler. She was also in Robert Altman's A Wedding which was just on Movieplex, another good comercial free channel, (their films are mostly more recient.)

While Channel 62 showed a lot of religous programing, it wasn't exactly a religous station. They also showed also ran cartoons, (The Archies, Felix The Cat 50's Version, The Groovie Ghoulies, Hoppity Hooper, Kimba) Dark Shadows, The Mod Squad, Merv Girffith the latter years, Dr Who, and a few other things. It was largely known for a low budget dance show called The Scene which I was like a local version of Soul Train. It was on for twelve years from 1975 to 1987.
To get back on track I was just wondering if these weird films that I barely remember made it to other cities. Judging by the response maybe they didn't.

I think the Ghoul was also on Channel 50 along with Bill Kennedy, (two very different shows, Bill Kennedy didn't blow up frogs, he just set fire to Ingrid Bergman in Joan Of Arc.)
There is a board dealing with vintage Detroit TV, but it's ran it's course and has been spammed
by some yutz in Kosovo. It's not what is was a few years ago.

Does anyone out there remember movies made by or distributed by a man named Joseph Green? They were weird European films made in the 70's, (or 60's.) In the Detroit area where
I'm from they were shown late night by the Channel 62, the epitomy a low rent UHF station,(it's been owned by CBS since 1995.) Here is a list of some of their titles:

Death Knocks Twice
Dragon Lady
This particular late show was on when I was young and could not stay up late. I don't think many of these films made to TCM,(maybe TCM underground.) For some reason I've been nostalgic for the UHF programming of my youth. Even the stuff I missed out on.
To be fair this channel showed normal movies that probally showed up on TCM.

Some people think Steve McQueen contacted Lung Cancer from the asbestos face hood he wore while racing. Somehow I don't think he wore it while flying.

I read Father Kieser Autobiography "Hollywood Priest" about 20 years ago. He seemed like a accepting easy going person. Sadly he died a few years ago. He was involved in some movies after the end of Insight. *Romero*, which was about the assassinated Archbishop Romero from El Salvodor. Also he did *Entertaining Angels*, which starred Moira Kelly as reformer nun Dorthy Day, (this was one of Brian Keith's last movies.) If he was still with us he'd be a good guest for TCM.
I know Annette O'Toole did nudity in Cat People. What other movie was she naked in?

Does anyone out there remember a TV anthology series called *Insight.*? It was created by a Paulist Priest Elwood Kieser and told moralistic, but not exactly preachy stories. This part of It's Wikipedia page can explain it better than I can.
Insight was an -emmy-winning syndicated television series produced by Paulist Productions that aired 250 episodes from 1960 to 1983. This series presented half hour dramas iluminating the contemporary search for meaning, freedom, and love. Insight was an anthology series, using an eclectic set of story telling forms including comedy, melodrama, and fantasy to explore moral dilemas.
The series was created by Roman Catholic priest Ellwood E. "Bud" Kieser, The founder of Paulist Productions. A member of Paulist Fathers, an evangelstic Catholic order of priests, he worked in the entertainment community in Hollywood as a priest-producer and occasional host, using television as a vehicle of spiritual enrichment.
This show seemed to be on some obscure UHF channel at some odd hour, (Sunday 6AM was common.) I once Heard Martin Scorsese watched this show, (he spend time studying in a seminary.) He mention seeing Rosanna Arquette in an episode as a woman who lost her baby.
The performance impressed him so he cast her in his segment of New York Stories.

I bought one of their 4 DVD Public Domain animation sets for five dollars. I'm happy with it but I'm not a videophile, (my 13 inch TV will tell you that.)
