  1. Sorry, that's incorrect. If nobody gets it in a week I'll reveal it.
  2. What do These four films have in common The Oxbow Incident (1943) SOB (1981) Creator (1985) Crimes And Misdemeanors (1989)
  3. Raise The Titantic (1980-a film no one remembers) I usually watch movies via DVR or DVD, so if Im falling asleep I'll just turn it off. I have insomnia so if anything that puts me to sleep besides benadryl it's probally a good thing.fe I felling asleep once while watching a movie with a friend and he poured water in my ear to wake me up.
  4. Got it Magnolia- William H Macy Felicy Huffman Princess Caraboo- Phoebe Cates- Kevin Kline Whose Afraid Of Virginia Woolf- Richard Burton-Elizabeth Taylor The Long Long Trailer- Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz
  5. *Blade Runner* I know Harrison Ford's job in the movie is called Blade Runner, but what does that mean? I guess that's more marketable than *Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sleep.*
  6. Here one a little bit easier What do these four films have in common Magnolia (1999) Princess Caraboo (1994) Whoose Afraid Of Virginia Woolf (1966) The Long Long Trailer (1953)
  7. I think it's only movie the director made. Electra Guide In Blue was directed by James William Guerco, who managed the group Chicago at the time, (thank you IMDB.) Martin Scorese was supposed to direct The Honeymoon Killers but was fired to taking to much time. He was replaced by a man whose name I can't remember, but never made another film. Both were not actors.
  8. In case your curious the directors are Robert Altman, Stanley Kubrick, Billy Wilder, and Elia Kazan.
  9. What Do These four films have in common? The Company (2003) Full Metal Jacket (1987) Fedora (1978) The Visitors (1972)
  10. The Company (2003) Full Metal Jacket (1987) Fedora (1978) The Visitors (1972) What Does These Films Have In Common?
  11. Even Though Laurence Olivier was in The Betsy, it's not considered a great movie. It's regarded more as a trashy 70's movie, (and not in the fun way like Roller Boogie.) It seems like something THIS would show, (but edit.)
  12. They sure like to show *Night Of The Lepus*. There are other cr**py movies out there.
  13. Did you ever hear the joke about the Dislexic Atheist. He doesn't believe in dog
  14. Hitchcock died in 1980. VCR's were available but expensive, and there were not many films to watch. If he were around today he might change his mind, (and be 110.)
  15. I fast forwarded through the end music, right after they leave for Dublin.
  16. Right now I'm watching *Ryan's Daughter*, 206 minute movie with an intermission and overture. The question I have is am I denying myself part of the viewing experience if I fast forward through those parts? I didn't in this film but I did while watching Around The World In 80 Days.
  17. I get the CBC on cable' so I couldn't tell you about over the air reception. I've been looking for a CBC Message Board on CBC.co.ca and other places but can't seem to find one.
  18. The CBC Movie will return March 11 at 2AM with the film *Young Triffle*. The showing of Dr Who and Torchwood is just temporary. I made much ado about very little.
  19. Canada and the CBC do have alot going for it, but truth be told I'm from the Detroit area. The CBC is part of my cable package. I've been watching it all my life, (though I never got into The Friendly Giant or Mr Dressup.) Basically I'm a fan of any station that shows an obscure late night movie like the CBC did, ( and maybe will soon do again.) TBS does show a film at Three AM, but they were in theater two and a half years ago and not a interesting.
  20. The CBC has replaced it's late night film with reruns of The New Dr Who and it's sequel Torchwood. However, they will show a movie after the late night hockey game, (this week it's Double Idemnity.) Lately they've been repeating at lot of titles, mostly modern films, (which I like but is of no interest to many people on this board.) Maybe they''ll bring it back in a few weeks.
  21. So did anybody watch *The Visitors* yet? It felt like a filmed play, very sparse. It was interesting seeing a young James Woods in a role that didn't launch him to stardom, (he'd have to wait for *The Onion Field* seven years later.) Interesting that it was written by his son Chris.
  22. I liked Egoyan's Exotica and The Sweet Herafter better.
  23. On my DVR I'm currently watching Mike Leigh's *Happy Go Lucky* on OWN, Oprah's new network. In the first half hour they're have been three comercial interuption, mostly promo's for it's own shows. That's kind of excessive, (sorry I had to get up and fast forward through another round of comercials.) I Don't hate Oprah, to me she's kind of neutral like oxygen. However, I don't think I'll being watching to much of OWN, (TCM does spoils us.)
