If you didn't see it listed on Watch TCM, then it's not available.

I guess we should stop watching TCM all together.

HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIES ARE FINALLY OFF THE AIR!
speedracer5 replied to Hibi's topic in General Discussions
Yes! That episode is hilarious. I think what made Niles' part even funnier is that each one required a different accent. I always liked the Halloween episodes. Frasier and Niles are always trying to have some pretentious snooty Halloween party, and there's always someone (usually Roz or Martin) who do not show up in the attire that Frasier and Niles envisioned for their party. I liked the one where the theme was something like "favorite author" or "favorite literary character" or something like that and Roz shows up in a dominatrix outfit--explaining that it's "O" from "The Story of O"-- an erotic novel from the 50s. I also liked the one where they're all stuck spending the night together in the same ski lodge and everyone's doing everything but sleeping. -
HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIES ARE FINALLY OFF THE AIR!

I thought the show "jumped the shark" when Niles and Daphne married. It was funnier when Daphne would say these innuendo-laden things that would get Niles all hot and bothered. I also didn't like when Roz had a kid. I thought she was better as the Sally Rogers-type at Frasier's job. Although I did like the episode where she was pregnant and met her baby daddy's immediate family and they all had enormous noses. My favorite episodes were the ones with Bebe or Lilith. They were hilarious. -
A lady cab driver?! How revolting.

Haha. I do technical writing. So I wasn’t watching the films, per se, I was listening to them and looking up occasionally. Ive seen all the ones that were on in the afternoon while I was working so it was easy to know what was going on.

I've been working from home today and TCM actually had a great batch of films on today. I watched: "Suspicion" "A Streetcar Named Desire" "Adam's Rib" "Treasure of the Sierra Madre." I've also been enjoying the Bob Hope marathon. Right now, I'm watching "Sorrowful Jones." I saw this movie a long time ago when I borrowed the VHS from the library. This is a cute film.

Does "Behind the Scenes" ruin it for you??

I for one, loved Nellie Oleson. Laura sometimes got on my nerves and I'm glad Nellie was there as her foil. She really mellowed out though when she married Percival. Then the Olesons adopted Nancy and Mrs. Oleson tried to groom her into a Nellie clone. I hated Nancy. She was so irritating. When she and Willie got locked in the ice house, I was hoping they'd save Willie, but leave Nancy in there. But nooooo, they had to save Nancy too! -

Haha. Well we never do see them in the same room, do we?

We were at Disneyland about two months prior to the opening of Galaxy's Edge. Right now, we are considering a late October/early November 2020 trip. We'll see what happens. I heard that the other Star Wars ride: Ride of the Resistance (I think that's what it's called) is opening next month. I am not sure about Cats either. I've never seen the play. My only knowledge of it really is from The Simpsons and random things I've heard about it here and there. The trailer and photos definitely did not make me want to see it. However, the bad reviews are somewhat making me want to see it, but I don't want to pay money for it. Free Redbox or the library might be the way I go. Lol.

I'm watching "Flamingo Road" with Joan Crawford, Zachary Scott, and Sydney Greenstreet. Zachary Scott does not have his moustache in this film. I have to say that I think he looks better with the moustache. Without his moustache, he has a very generic looking face.

I haven't liked Bieber since day 1 when he was a 12 year old with that horrid bubble hairdo. I still don't like him now. He hasn't been relevant for years. The only reason he's even remembered at all is because he married a Baldwin--she keeps them in the spotlight as an alleged model.

I like seeing behind the scenes photos and learning about what happened during production. I find the process of putting together a film interesting. I like to see how different shots were completed both during production and afterwards. -
Justin Bieber would never rank on any sort of beefcake list in any of my lifetimes. His songs are crap. He can't sing. There are no redeeming qualities. In this photo, it looks like a teenager's head was photoshopped onto another body. I can't with the perpetually confused look that seems to be a popular facial expression these days. I'm also really not into all the tattoos. I am not a tattoo person. But HAHAHA most popular WOMAN is hilarious. I used to think that he and Miley Cyrus looked identical when they were younger. Not so much now.

Have you seen these 10 classic films..?

Piggy backing off Det. Jim McLeod's identifications. 341 Of Mice and Men, I haven't seen it. 342 The More the Merrier, I love this movie. The scene where Jean Arthur gives Charles Coburn the rundown on the morning routine is my favorite part of the movie. I also love the scene between she and Joel McCrea on the steps--one of the sexiest scenes in classic Hollywood. 343 It's a Wonderful Life, yes. It's not my favorite Christmas film, but it's sweet. 344 Not sure which film this is. I can see it's Tyrone Power, and I think Susan Hayward? 345 Tea and Sympathy. I haven't seen this one. 346 The Thrill of it All. I didn't like this movie the first time I watched it, but on subsequent viewings, I'm enjoying it. 347 The Odd Couple. Love this movie. Though I think I may like the television show a little more. Tony Randall's neurotic Felix Unger is everything. My back! My back! 348 Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore- I haven't seen this one 349 Uncle Buck. I saw this movie a long time ago. 350 Not sure which film this is, though I can see it's Warren Beatty and I think Annette Bening? -
Great Card Playing Scenes In Movies
speedracer5 replied to Det Jim McLeod's topic in General Discussions
I loved Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine's card playing in The Apartment. Judy Holliday and Broderick Crawford playing gin in Born Yesterday is one of the best parts of the film. I find Judy Holliday's organizing of the cards in her hand to be very mesmerizing. -

312 Humoresque, great film with John Garfield! 314 Raintree County, yes 319 Showgirls, I'll admit that I've only seen the edited for TV version; but the editing made it a very funny film. 321 Stage Door, love this movie. Lucille Ball and Eve Arden are everything in this film. 331 A Free Soul, yes 332 Dive Bomber, it has Errol in it, of course I've seen it. Errol even dons multiple uniforms in the film and is a doctor. ::swoon:: 333 Criss Cross, yes. Loved this movie! 335 The Pajama Game, yes. "I'm feeling Steeeeeeeem Heat sssssss ..... " ON DVR 311 Bluebeard's Eighth Wife 322 The Grapes of Wrath 323 Summer Holiday 334 Kind Lady 337 Klute -
As far as I am concerned, it's The Long, Long Trailer.
