  1. Yeah, I've heard that before. Even the few short clips I've seen have been mildly disappointing, but isn't that always the case with great books being adapted into movies? I can imagine it being especially rough considering how most of the story is told, but it's still something I've always wanted to see. Thanks for all the info, guys!
  2. I've been seeing the commercial where they talk about the Johnny Got His Gun movie, and that book has always been one of my favorites. I'm aching to see the movie, but I never catch if they announce a showtime in the commercial. Does anyone know if or when it's playing?
  3. I've grown up on TCM - yeah, I'm pretty young - and I can't help but feel classic movies aren't complete without Robert Osborne's introductions. I've got hours and hours of tapes to guarantee that when my kids see Duck Soup or Roman Holiday for the first time, they get that wonderful dose of film history before and afterwards. Anyhow, the sole purpose of this post was to pay tribute where it's due, so even though he'll never read this...Thanks Robert! You're my hero!
