  1. You lose work by how old you look, not how old you are.
  2. Will this be done by personal message, or are you going to let the rest of us in on this information?
  3. I'm a big Steely Dan fan. I think their two best songs are "Deacon Blues" and the obscure "Glamour Profession".
  4. GABRIEL OVER THE WHITE HOUSE? Walter Huston and __________?
  5. She wouldn't have had a typical Philly accent. Only the people from the relatively less wealthy neighborhoods had that. She grew up very wealthy in a mansion in East Falls. She obviously received Hollywood diction lessons.
  6. If she really LOOKED like Susan Hayward, she would have walked.
  7. I listened to this song, and like many disco songs, it is terrible. But there are a lot of great disco songs, if you look for them. France Joli's "Come to Me" and "The Heart to Break a Heart" are two examples..

  12. I am an anti-smoking zealot who, to this day, finds that smoking by a sexy women enhances her sexiness. Smoking by ANYONE ELSE I find objectionable. I am aware that there is a major inconsistency here. So sue me.
  13. There's nothing worse than a sarcastic remark that falls completely flat. Arden specialized in those, and I didn't like her voice either.
  14. Bogart didn't show grace and dignity. He showed other traits, like sleaziness.
  15. In a sexy women, it ehhances her appeal. Don't ask me to explain this. It may be that, as an impressionable youngster, I was subliminally affected by the Julie London Marlboro commercials.
  16. I don't know who Patsy Gallant is, but the disco diva from Canada that I was thinking of was France Joli.
  17. Another hint: The first name and last name of the gentleman in question begins with the same letter.
  18. Anyone who spells the word "blocknead" must be a blockhead.
  19. Chinese and Japanese look very different. In most instances I can tell the difference.
  20. I also find it difficult to find grace and dignity in a man smoking one cigarette after another.
  21. Powell? One man's "grace and dignity" is another man's "boredom and catatonia".
  22. Here's one for you, Miss Canada. Name a disco diva who was from Canada.
