  12. I agree, but I think THE PRODUCERS went a bit further than just making fun of Hitler. It certainly did not trivialize the Holocaust, though. (Part of Brooks' pushing the envelope were statements from audience members, "Talk about bad taste".)

  16. What I did read is that a cameo for REBECCA was filmed, and was used in the trailer, but did not appear in the final movie. You mean this is not true? I've seen REBECCA a number of times, and don't recall seeing a Hitchcock cameo.

  19. I recently read that REBECCA is the only one of his films in which he did not have a cameo. Is that correct?
  20. Great movie, but could be the bleakest (most bleak?) film ever made.
