A recurring complaint on this board seemed to be why certain of a director's movies were shown rather than other, possibly better movies. Maybe there are rights or cost issues involved.

It occurred to me that TCM doesn't show many films from the period 1965-1975, particularly those of the counterculture mentality which was prevalent in that period. Also very few films from such actors who were hot during those years as George Segal, Alan Arkin, and Elliott Gould.
