As far as I know, there was no album by anybody ever that had every single song on it released as singles.
Usually 1 or 2, but in rare cases 4 or 5.
But every track? Nope.
Agreed

You're being serious arent you? Man, something tells me that pairing would not have gone well.
All kidding aside, I bet you anything Doris would have done an absolutely Stellar rendition of ME & BOBBY MCGEE.
No I'm not. Morrison and Doris? I don't think so. The odds would have been a lot more than "5 to 1" that this matchup would ever take place.

AM radio ruled the day, playing 45's.
This wasn't released as a single - that might have had a little to do with it as well.
..and that may be the ******** reason that the song was NOT released as a single.

Paul Newman directed his wife Joanne Woodward in "Rachel, Rachel" and "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds"
Woodward was in A KISS BEFORE DYING with Robert Wagner

You're still ******* peasants as far as I can see.
..which is why this song didn't get much radio airplay.

Tom Big Daddy Donahue produced the last live Beatles concert at Candlestick Park ??
You've got the right guy, but he had a greater accomplishment than that.

Considering everything, this is pretty much a no brainer.
Jefferson Airplane. I don't really have a good question,
so help yourself.
You won't name Grace Slick, Marty Balin, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen, and Jack Casady? Lazy.

Maybe Janis's version would've been titled PLEASE DON'T EAT THE BROWN ACID.
Don't laugh. Terry Melcher tried to use his connections to arrange a duet between his mother and Jim Morrison.

If threads had soundtracks, the soundtrack to this one should include "Blue Collar Man", by Styx.

Hint: If you know something, you will get all 5 at once.
Hint: The 5 have something VERY much in common.
-
Hint: It has to do with rock.
Hint: He did it in San Francisco.

A minor DJ at WIBG-AM in Philadelphia in the late '50s within a decade became a major pioneer in the history of radio. What was his name and what did he do?

Name at least 5 people who were seen in the films MONTEREY POP, WOODSTOCK, and GIMME SHELTER.

As I recall(as it's been a few years since I've watched this overwrought "Hollywood exposé" of Odets' and Aldrich's on TCM) but Palance ain't no slouch when it comes to chewin' on the ol' scenery in this thing TOO!
Would've been interesting to see John Garfield's portrayal of the Hollywood star in crisis lead character when the play premiered on Broadway back in '48, wouldn't it?
With two guys chewing on the scenery like that, there was no scenery left by the end of shooting. Gulp.

DGF - Absolutely right. Marlon and Jean were charismatic together. I always thought they rose above the material they had to work with in these two films. I would have liked to see them featured in movies with better scripts. C'est la vie.
Great job. The thread is yours.

Thanks, lavender,
I loved "December Bride" and the running gag theme that you never saw Pete's wife Gladys so I was delighted to see the TV series "Pete And Gladys" and the choice of Cara Williams was perfect. I guess you might designate this as one of the original "spin-offs".
Next:
Marlon Brando appeared in movies with many leading actresses but only once with each. However, he did appear two times with one leading actress . Please name the actress and the two movies in which she appeared with Mr. Brando.

Eddie and the Cruisers
. Correct.

That would be Rochelle, Rochelle.
Michelle, Michelle follows her prosaic
journey from Madrid to Mannheim.
You are correct, sir. I must have Michelle Shocked on the brain. Incidentally, that is one of the best "Seinfeld" episodes, with the four of them continually missing each other in the movie theatre.

The three I was thinking of were
1) The Rose, about Janis Joplin, but not
2) Dreamgirls, about the Supremes, but not
3) Grace of My Heart, about Carole King, Brian Wilson, and more, but not.
There are more, but those 3 will suffice.

When I was 21, and was in Atlantic City for the summer, I used to go to Tony Mart's in Somers Point. Name a film which featured a group that played at Tony Mart's.

And a great two cents it was, N&N!
It reminds me of the time Dionne Warwicke went to a numerologist who told her to either take off the final "e" of her name, or add it. I can't remember which way it went but she did and I believe years later returned to the original spelling.
Apparently it did not help her career, but good to know that Bette's did, but she probably would have been successful if she was named Bertha Davis too.
Maybe, but I would draw the line at Hortense Davis.

Down, have you ever seen that great movie called "The Night They Raided Minsk"?
No, but I have seen the movie "Michelle, Michelle" which chronicles her erotic journey from Milan to Minsk.

Bet-tee for the first and Bet for the second.
But in French it would just be Bet for Bette.
I'll bette you're wrong.

It's Bet-ee Davis and Bet Midler. How is this name usually pronounced?
