You're probably right about that, audrey. By the way, there's some good seldom-seen gangster movies coming up on the TCM schedule this Tuesday, as part of Walter Huston's birthday tribute (see threads in General Discussions or Gangster/Film Noir forums).

I'm trying to come up with a comprehensive list of all major Hollywood stars who were born in the South. The first ones that came to mind were Cyd Charisse and Joan Crawford (Texas) and Ben Johnson (Oklahoma). Can anyone think of other major stars who were born in the South?

Fun facts about your favorite stars

Fun facts about Jean Harlow: * Birth name: Harlean Harlow Carpenter * Refused the lead in *King Kong* (1933), as well as the lead in the Tod Browning classic *Freaks* (1932). * In the 1933 Hollywood satire *Bombshell* (1933) Harlow is known as "the If girl" -- a spoof loosely based on 1920s sex symbol and "It girl" Clara Bow. -
Hi, jimac51, welcome to the forums. I'm happy for you and your wife, and I'd agree that it's always nice to have CC for the intros. TCM Celebrates Walter Huston (April 6)

Will Angelica or Danny be introducing these films, since they've been advertising their appearances at the film festival? That would be awesome, but as far as I know, it's just a regular daytime/evening schedule, with no special intros. It is true that they've been advertising about Angelica and Danny making an appearance at the festival, but I think that's just for the festival, and unrelated to Tuesday's schedule. -
