  4. So very sorry that another legend is gone... We'll never forget you, Lena! May you rest in peace.
  5. That series was a lot of fun, at least when I was little I thought it was cool. It was also how I first got to know Lionel and Robert Wagner.
  6. > {quote:title=ValentineXavier wrote:}{quote} I haven't seen the Criterion version yet, but look forward to it! I believe you will enjoy it very much, especially the new bonus features, which include an interview with Lumet that I believe was filmed earlier this year, and in which he discusses a lot of the stuff about the movie that perhaps nobody outside the production would know (for example why he didn't want to actually film this in the South).
  7. > {quote:title=ValentineXavier wrote:}{quote} > I always stay for the credits, but am usually the last one left in the theater at the end. But this time, there were probably 30 people left in what was a sold-out show. They were waiting to see if there would be a coda... Hope they weren't disappointed, heh heh. It looks like we have something to look forward to, wouldn't you say?
  8. Well, then I should really enjoy his writings, I've always been a big fan of Mark Twain. :x
  9. Grace Kelly was in The Bridges at Toko-Ri with Mickey Rooney
  10. Broderick's one of my all-time faves, though I must confess I'm not as familiar with Marilyn Maxwell as I would like to be. I hope that watching this movie when it comes out on DVD will help me appreciate her work a bit more.
  11. Henry Fonda was in The Lady Eve with Barbara Stanwyck
  12. Green, Alfred E. - directed Thoroughbreds Don't Cry
  13. Lynn Redgrave was in Tom Jones with Albert Finney
