tracey,
I would agree with you, completely - those guys were something else! And amazingly most of them seem to have cared for the artistic side of things almost as much as they did for the business side.
The fact that it's a 7-part series should tell us we can expect something truly amazing, for me personally it will probably be the highlight of the last months of the year, as far as TCM programming goes.
I'm really excited about this series.

Well, I think it might be a bit harder for TCM to get her early movies due to them being Fox - the exception of course being The Little Princess because it fell into the public domain. Definitely look forward to That Hagen Girl and Adventure in Baltimore, I don't think I've ever seen them.
P.S. That's a really cute doll, by the way!

I'm sure if Donen was involved, it must have been with the best of intentions. And while I haven't seen it, I can imagine that the two actors would have easily fallen into the most stereotypical portrayals, maybe because they thought that's what audiences expected.

Hi Seren, welcome to the forums - I agree that she does deserve much more than that, but I'll take whatever TCM is able to offer.
Here's hoping future memorial tributes won't seem so minute in comparison to the greatness of the performers being honored.

clore, everyone,
Outpost in Morocco is indeed in the July schedule, it is supposed to show on July 17th at 3:30am ET (technically, that's actually on morning of the 18th, but TCM usually lists each day's schedule as running through 6am ET of the next day).
Now, let's just hope there aren't any changes to the schedule, at least for that movie.
