I don't think I'd heard much about this movie before others mentioned it here, but if Hope Emerson is half as good in Caged as she was in that other movie, it'll definitely be worth watching. And I just found a copy at a local video store!

Hondo is a pretty awesome western, I always thought. Can't imagine anyone who likes westerns - especially liking John Wayne westerns - not liking it. Duke's good as always, and there are great performances also by Geraldine Page and Ward Bond, and also the little kid. This one was directed by John Farrow, who was pretty good with noirs also. I think it was also filmed in 3-D, but not sure about that.

Which actor would YOU like to have a box set of?
HollywoodGolightly replied to paxamo84's topic in General Discussions
Count me among those who'd also like to see a DVD boxset of the Hardy films, even though I've recorded all of them when they have been shown on TCM. What would really make the boxset special, though, would be some nifty extra features. -
Kahn, Phillip - edited Buck Privates

Abe Lincoln in Illinois

Don't forget, Hope Emerson was nominated, too!

I wonder if Eureka has previously released unlocked blu-rays. I saw some really neat UK blu-ray release announcements just the other day, but I didn't list them here because they're being released by Optimum, and apparently those are usually region-locked.
