  1. I like both posters. The one for The Third Man is very classy; the one for The Sugarland Express has a very 70s look to it. Both are effective in getting across something about each movie.
  2. Margaret Hamilton was in Four's a Crowd with Rosalind Russell
  3. Antonioni, Michelangelo - directed Zabriskie Point
  4. Adams, John - William Daniels in 1776

  8. It's an interesting point you bring up, clore, I never really thought about that. I still have the blu-ray of this movie and I hope to watch it soon, maybe over the weekend, because ideally I'd like to watch the whole Dollars trilogy. I'll see what other interesting things I might notice this time around.
  9. I wish I could have been there, too! It seems nobody from the forums was able to go to this.
  10. Nice to see you back, georgiegirl!
  11. > {quote:title=brandoalways4ever wrote:}{quote} > How much will it be? I think the suggested retail price is around $20, so most retailers will probably have it discounted down to about $15. It's also going to be included starting in September with the Ford-Wayne DVD box set.
  12. Hi, Freudhomer, welcome to the forums Have you seen Fanny and Alexander already? It's probably Bergman's most accessible movie, and I think he reportedly saw it as the capping achievement of his career. It's also a great movie to watch around the Holidays.
  13. I haven't seen The Passion of Anna yet, but I hope to catch it soon. So far, my favorite Bergman movies are The Seventh Seal and Fanny and Alexander. I'm planning on catching a lot more of his movies in the coming weeks. (If anyone is interested, there is a dedicated Ingmar Bergman thread in the Films and Filmmakers forum).
  14. Hey, you can have your arugula and like Bergman, too! I haven't read the Hudson Review article regarding the longer version of Fanny and Alexander but I'll try and look it up. Thanks to the Criterion DVD, I've seen both versions, and it's hard to go back to the theatrical release after having watched the longer version, but they are both wonderful no matter what.
