Chris, I didn't get a chance to watch this last night, but I imagine it must feel great for a Western fan like yourself to watch Gail in her prime. Did you like her in her later roles, like Seven Men From Now ? I remember from watching documentaries of that one that she hit a rough spot in her career in the early 50s, but that the Duke stood by her and helped get her cast in that Budd Boetticher western. What a great guy he was to her!

I just posted this on the Westerns forum, and wasn't sure if the forum was going to let me post it here, as well... Warner Home Video has just announced it will release a fully restored version of John Ford's Wagon Master on DVD on Sept. 15. It will include an audio commentary by Harry Carey, Jr. and Peter Bogdanovich _with_ John Ford! The SRP is $19.97, so I'm sure most online retailers will have it on sale for about $15. They're also releasing a double feature DVD with both versions of The Getaway (1972/1994) on 9/15, the SRP is around $15.
