  2. I'm very glad for the Wednesday night tribute to Motown on TCM, especially the showing of Lady Sings the Blues. I think this 1972 film was one of the few from its time to have a mostly African-American cast and show that you didn't need blaxploitation films to show movies about the African-American experience in America.
