Well, it probably would never have occurred to him that it would happen, but I'm sure he'd have liked it - and maybe that is the reason Russell was able to deliver such a great performance. I have seen that TCM promo where Russell talks about working in It Happened at the World's Fair, but not recently, and definitely not since I watched him playing Elvis in this. I do hope I can watch it again soon.
