  4. Well, I'm sure she was still fairly well-known back in the 30s and 40s. She was at MGM for most of her career, I believe, and competition must have been intense to land the biggest parts - even for such a talented dancer as Miss Miller.

  7. With a bit more than a month to go before this fest starts, word is already building on the blogosphere. Just Google *I Wake Up Dreaming* and chances are you'll get some entries about this Roxie noir fest. Hope they'll put as much care into their calendar this year as they did a year ago.
