Just a reminder to all the folks who may be interested in watching the original 1935 version of Magnificent Obsession - it's going to be shown on TCM tomorrow (April 6th) at 8pm Eastern. *Magnificent Obsession* (1935) A playboy tries to redeem himself after his careless behavior causes a great man's death. Cast: Irene Dunne, Robert Taylor, Charles Butterworth, Betty Furness Dir: John M. Stahl BW-102 mins This movie is otherwise only available as a bonus feature on the Criterion DVD set of the Douglas Sirk version.

Well, you're right in that they moved to Arlington Virginia when Warren and Shirley were kids. So I guess they could also be considered stars from the Northeast, in some way. -

According to both imdb and Wikipedia, they're from Richmond, Virginia. I realize those two sources could be mistaken, however, so I'll check up elsewhere. -
