Thank you for your message. In Niagara (1953) at the beginning there is one record broken too. It is a pity I cannot tell much more about the film I have in mind, it's only this scene at the end of the film I can remember. The man I think, was besides a collector, a radioman, a jazzreporter or something like that. Seems to me it was a film noir. Message was edited by: hellostranger

Probably forties/fifties movie. Scene: The man has a huge collection of 78 rpm records. The woman in moment of bad temper, destroys a great part of this collection as the records fell down on the ground in pieces. Seen long time ago, but still exists in my memory. Thanks of thinking.
