  3. I am trying to identify a movie that I last viewed (on cable) in the late 70s and have not seen agian. It is a black and white movie that is based in a department store. The main story relates to a young woman who is an elevator operator and falls in love with a store employee. The wrinkle to the story, the young woman's father owns the department store and she does not want the young man to find out as she is afraid it will scare him off. The father is aware of the relationship and approves. I would classify it as a romantic comedy. Sorry to be sketchy on the details, I was never able to see the conclusion to the movie. Thanks for any help.
