I was watching Hitchcock's *The Wrong Man* recently and was very impressed with Vera Miles' acting of Fonda's wife who was having a nervous or mental breakdown, and I thought she should have been nominated for it. I'd like to get others' thoughts on who they think gave great nervous breakdown performances. I also would name Jack Lemmon in Save the Tiger. Any thoughts on this thread.

Any guesses from flash, lavender, Miles or Mr6666? I'll let this go a little longer, I guess. The actresses in question are J.H. (who was in the B&W films) and H.H. (who was in the tv versions.)
