{font:Times New Roman}“I was a supporting actress of my time in films. Born in Mexico in 1923, I still consider myself lucky. While others loved him from afar and some even had affairs with him, I was one of the few who married him and could say he was mine, for seven glorious years. My movie career didn’t find me fame. But being his wife did. I made a movie in 1947 with an actress who had it bad for him. Two years later he was mine, and though we divorced and he remarried, he once was mine. A son carries on the name. Do you know me?”{font}

I knew I knew it. When you mentioned the kids talking about him, that definitely sounded familiar. Will have one soon.

Ida Lupino is a woman on the run in this film that takes place in North Carolina. The viewer knows this right away, because her car's license plate reads North Carolina and also because throughout the film, as she is on the run from bus station to bus station, the intercom announces departures and arrivals for Raleigh, Asheville, Black Mountain, and surrounding towns and cities. Name the film, why she is running, and who's on hand to help her.

Absolutely correct. Your turn.

{font:Times New Roman}"Born in Dubuque, Ohio in 1910, I had a love for acting. After taking drama and speech, my first film was in 1932. Because I had the air of sophisticated elegance, I was often cast in roles of well-to-do society wives, daughters, and fiancées. Though I was engaged already in two of my pictures, I still lost my man to Barbara Stanwyck amd Lana Turner. I also starred in a very prominent Bette Davis film. Do you know me?"{font}

As I don't know, here's another guess: George Hamilton in Your Cheatin Heart or Keith Carradine? Either right?

I know some people don't like to post until they know for sure, so that they don't come up with some off-the-wall answer, but you gotta get in there and play. Plus, it's good to help each other out, if possible or at least get the brains working or stimulated. So for a first guess, this looks like a Paul Newman pose. Is it Paul?

Very good! Your turn.

Thanks. Getting back to the subject of the rumor of the Bond reunion on the Oscars: Maybe some of the actors weren't interested. The academy may have thought, what were the actors going to do when the Academy got them there, But they could have at least given out two or three awards. That's my thinking. Just a thought. But Ms. Bassey certainly knocked it out of the park. And, while I like Adele's music, I didn't think her song was *that* great.

Thanks.

2. My girlfriend is dead and I didn't do it.
3. All I do, all day, every day, is go up and down, up and down.
4. My wife is very dominating and she bosses me around but I'd do anything for her.
