  1. I thought about it later, about someone?s reference to liking movies no matter what year they were released. I didn?t mean to give the impression I don?t like modern films. I love all kinds of movies, and there are good ones made recently I enjoy. (Some of my favorite modern movies don?t get shown on FOX at all.) It just seems that FOX repeats the same thing over and over, and you don?t, as a rule, see much change in their roster.

  2. I agree with markfp2 about that rating logo. Fox needs to do like pay channels do and give the rating of the movie before it and what content constitutes it. I have noticed too, that Fox doesn?t show their old movies like they used to; only now, they show them in the early morning. They show some ridiculous 80s/90s three times in a row overnight. I disowned AMC a long time ago with their commercials, and even TCM doesn?t showcase certain actors like they used to. I started watching TCM in the late 90s (96-99) and Warren William, Kay Francis, Ann Dvorak, and actors like them were all over the place. Now you see them sporadically. (Kay Francis was a star of the month last year about this time, though.) I?m always glad to see new movies that resurface and/or get remastered, but I feel sometimes they schedule more recent fare (or the obvious classics) in primetime for more ratings. I was glad to see MILLION DOLLAR BABY on last Friday night. (So, I guess it all depends on the theme of the night.)
