I have one.
This movie actor was out of work in 1969 and lobbied desperately to be the father of a new family tv sitcom and also showed interest in his wife?s daytime gig, ?General Hospital.? But, he was deemed too good-looking to be an architect (the father?s profession) for the tv show, and ?GH? didn?t take him seriously. Just 3 years before, he had decided against staying on a sci-fi series, after he had appeared on its pilot episode. Bad decision!
