7) 1940s audiences were shocked when it seemed clear to them that John Garfield uses his tongue in one of his kissing scenes with Lana Turner.

I'm sorry to be confusing, the Broadway play was a musical. Then it was a movie with the man in question and a movie star as his costar. By the way, this is based on real people.
-
Not Richard Harris either. In fact his name isn't that well known. Because of his role in a 1996 offbeat film, he found new work in films and tv and was seen as a heavy in films due to his imposing looks. The musical film, based from the Broadway play, has been on TCM recently, I believe, as part of "the trip around the world" and I repeat the leading actress role was given to a movie star, and not the actress in the play. I appreciate all your hard work, Edythe and hope this helps. Edited by: allaboutlana on Feb 7, 2012 4:03 PM

There's quite a few I could pick from this movie, but here's one: "There are no great men. There's only men." and who says it? -
I just saw As Young as You Feel, when family visited a couple of weeks ago and should have got this right away. Are you Monty Woolley?

Chickadee? -
And, each one was nominated for their performance. I was mainly looking for your answer, so it's up to you to take it or give it to Edyth. Thanks to you both for playing.
-
Yes, that is one of them, but look at the casts. (Hint: They were made a year after another movie that people were really talking about, I would think.)
-
No, not that. His original leading lady in the play was replaced with a star who is still with us today.
-
Absolutely correct! Your turn.
