{font:Times New Roman}"There were things about my childhood that I didn’t really want to share or for anybody to know, so I shaded a few things to my liking. But I admit that my father was a stinker. He left my mother and I when before I was 10, and when she became ill with tuberculosis, I was forced to make money for our survival. We went to New York, where I lied about my age to join the Ziegfeld Follies. Long story short, I was discovered by Hollywood and, despite the fact some people may say who, when you say my name, I made 60 pictures in 12 years in my career. But I got married (to my second husband) and retired, leaving it all behind me, and loving it, raising 4 children. You may have seen me in movies with Bette Davis, Warren William, Kay Francis, Irene Dunne, Bing Crosby, and Dick Powell. Do you know me?"{font} Edited by: allaboutlana on Nov 11, 2011 3:40 AM

Do you mean, to put succinctly, that they're not blonde? I thought of that but thought there had to be more to it than that.
-
Is that they all played characters that were somewhat more strong, assertive,or strong-minded rather than victims?
-
Yes, I was thinking, that with those specific details, I would have remembered it if I had seen it. But it doesn't sound familiar to me at all, except it reminds me of a short in between films that was about a detective catching someone walking, when they were supposedly incapacitated and involved in a lawsuit. They caught them on camera getting their mail, or something to that effect. But as to your film, I don't know.
