That is a great idea! for Franklin and anyone who hasn't seen the silent picture Exit Smiling with Beatrice Lillie, it costars Mr. Pangborn and I highly recommend it. It comes on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Something to look forward to.

It's been long enough. The thread is fair game for anyone. Take it away!

Correct. Your turn.

I've seen Hands Across the Table, so I'll make three entirely different answers to get this moving, based on that:
Do they all play hopscotch like Fred does in the hallway?
DO they all flip a coin to make a decision, like Fred does at the end?
or
Do they all try to cure hiccups?

Correct! Your turn.

Thanks.

The 2006 film has the same title as Garbo's (1934), but Eleanor's (1957) has another title. Garbo's version was on TCM some time recently, in October, I think.

{font:Times New Roman}I know we like to discuss older movies, but this is a new thread for anyone interested in mixing a trivia game with more recent movies, from roughly 2000 to present.
{font}{font:Times New Roman} {font}
{font:Times New Roman}Here’s one to start: This 2006 movie was a remake of a story filmed twice before, once with Garbo and once with Eleanor Parker. Name the 2006 film and its two stars. {font}
-
{font:Calibri}Since it's been so long, I've got one - related indirectly:
Prior to Gone with the Wind, Thomas Mitchell and Barbara O’Neil played husband and wife before, in a 1938 film. Name the film and its leading lady.{font}

Then is it Joan Fontaine and Hedda Hopper? That would be ironic becase Hedda was in Joan's *Maid's Night Out* as her mother. I know that film because I taped it years ago, when AMC showed movies with no commercials.
