  1. I blogged this idea a while ago and had some enthusiastic responses, although less than I thought there would be. So hence the post, or re-post, of what I think is a good idea to the people who openly like this stuff. A day of cartoons on TCM. Just like they do with actors, directors, genres, etc., I would like to see some of old cartoons most of us grew up watching. Maybe they can even use them in between the movies. Anyway I'd like to hear back from you guys and see what you think about it. B_b
  2. three and maybe four cheers for that idea. why replace something historic to our culture with something vapid and pointless just to move plastic merchandise which seems to be the sole purpose or cartoons nowadays. bring back the good stuff so that animators and admirers can revel in the glory of artistic quality.
  3. I'd also like to throw in the Ford/Wayne combo simply because I think JW did his best work with Ford at the whip ( and I do mean whip!) Liberty Valence ( for me his best) and Quiet Man immediately leap to mind.
