Favorite Bogart film has to be either The African Queen, Casablanca, or Across the Pacific. All three are really great films and I think he's great in all of them. My favorite comedy has to be All Through the Night. He's just so funny and the dialog in that film is just great. He's got so many great movies though that it's hard for me to choose just one or two!

Remake High Noon?! That has to be some form of blasphamy! Without Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly... It would be ruined! I don't think it's a serious threat though. I can't find any information on it, thank goodness.

I have to say either Anthony Mann and Jimmy Stewart because their westerns were just so great, or Alfred Hitchcock and Jimmy because I just loved the way Hitchcock brought out a lot of cool aspects Jimmy could portray and proved really that Jimmy could be a great dramatic actor, even though he proved it before his teamings with both Mann and Hitchcock via The Mortal Storm and others. I just love what both directors did for Stewart.

I like them together, but I've never been a fan of Jean Arthur alone. Something about her annoys me. I think it's the whole Shane fiasco. I know that movie is good, but that kid running around screaming, "Shane, come back shane." Drives me CRAZY! I can't handle it. He was the same kid in Hud... only younger and much more annoying.
My favorite Jimmy and Jean pairing has to be You Can't Take It With You. I say that because they are just TOO funny in that film, "A rat... yeah a rat this long with hair on it. There were about eight or nine of them, weren't there about eight or nine of them? They went that way." XD It never fails to amuse me, "You're not really going to scream?" It is just SO funny! "Have you ever been in a monstary?" "No, but I was trapped in a cave once." "What happened to you?" "The cave caved in and I was never heard from again." I never laughed so hard in all my life. "It STINKS!" Greatest capra movie for its pure comedy sake.
