  1. Hey there. I'm new here so I've gotta a bunch of 'em! (Some may be paraphrased) All About Eve George Sanders to Ann Baxter: You're too short for that gesture. Holiday Edward Everett Horton: My father made me quit after my first million. Henry Daniell (very dry): You're probably joking. It's a Wonderful Life Sheldon Leonard: Get me! I'm givin' out wings! Philadelphia Story K. Hepburn: I think men are wonderful! Ruth Hussey (snide): The dears. And one of my all time faves, from Gay Divorcee: Alice Brady to Ginger Rogers: Try to be sweet and feminine - if you can blend
  2. Hi, I haven't had TCM very long and this is only my second post - and I haven't read all these but... I would like to see them show a bunch of those Juvenile Delinquent movies from the 50's, like High School Confidential. I can't think of other titles offhand, but that one is definitely a classic! I also wish they'd show more of the silent movies. It's great getting to see these - too bad they're on so late. I loved The Red Kimono - amazingly frank for the time!
  3. My first post on TCM - great topic! Definitely in the tramp (not hooker or ****) category: Jan Sterling in The Big Carnival. Throws herself at Kirk Douglas while her poor schmo of a husband lies trapped in a cave. "I don't pray - kneeling bags my nylons." Love. Her.
