  1. Thanks for the reply. I've done that a few times but one of the recordings ended eight minutes before the end of the movie. What seems to be happening is the schedule says the movie is 1 hr 43 mins. When you watch it you find that the recording starts a minute or two into the end of the previous movie. Then come all the promos and the intro of the next movie (the one I want to record) because of that extra time in the beginning the end of the move is clipped. Sometimes I go the end of the movie to see if it's been clipped. If it has it's too late. I need some tech person at TCM to answer the question.
  2. I view TCM on Time-Warner Cable. I often record the pictures to my DVR. using the the schedule from the cable guide. Many times the recordings end minutes before the end of the movie. This is very disconcerting. The cable people tell me that they have no control over the timing of your movies. Is there a solution to this problem?
