I sent you a private message at the end of last year and was hoping to hear back from you.
We made a server configuration change on Dec. 21 that was intended to help address the posting problem you are having. Have you experienced the timeout problem since then?
We have so far been unable to reproduce the issue at all on our end and it does not seem to be universal to all users so it has been difficult to track down. Can you provide a couple details about your system? In particular, what version of Windows (or Mac), which browser (and version) you use, and what kind of internet connection you have (cable, dsl, etc.)
Your help will be much appreciated.

I see the behavior you are describing in the following case:
If I login on the main TCM site (www.tcm.com, not forums.tcm.com) and then navigate to the message boards, forums does not immediately recognize I am logged in. When I try to reply it thinks i'm not logged in and sends me to the main page. In that process the login gets recognized and after that I can then reply to messages normally.
If you login from the forums page you can hit reply and not be sent back to the main page. This definitely appears to be a bug in the login process going between www.tcm.com and forums.tcm.com. I'll get a ticket entered and we will get this behavior fixed.

Yes, we are planning to remove the "watch user" option and disable any existing watches in the next update to the forums. This should occur in the next 2-3 weeks.
