Yes, Marie Windsor was the posion under the gravy. She was beautiful yet a tough dame. I loved
her in "Narrow Margin". She was pretty yet street savvy. She was truly awesome!

Have you ever seen "Brides of Dracula?" This Hammer Studios "classic" still scares me to death!
I love the movie and saw it as a kid but it still sort of haunts me to this day. To be honest, it still
sends shivers down my spine.

Has anyone ever seen "The Suspect?" starring Ella Raines? I don't know if you classify as
mystery but I certainly enjoy the movie. I think Charles Laughton is the star. He is so classy
and continental while Ella Raines is so good as the woman who truly loves him. Laughton's
character is classy to the end and I guess that's why I like it. I have seen it only once but I
can't remember if it was on TCM. I wish they'd play it sometimes.
Another movie I love is "Ivy" with Joan Fontaine. She is truly a schemer and so unlike the
mousy character of "Rebecca" Don't get me wrong. I am speaking in terms of the character
not the actress. Ivy was a beautiful schemer......a social climber I'd call her. Ivy was a liar
and a cheat and Joan Fontaine played her to perfection. At the end of the movie, Ivy gets what
she truly deserves. The movie is an excellent example of the old saying: What goes around
comes around.
Has anyone ever seen these two movies. Let me hear from you. I'd love to read your comments.
Thanks

THEM! (1954)

I certainly agree. The movie in black and white gives it a more frightening effect than I think color would have. I love "THEM" because the giant mutated ants make my flesh crawl. They are so ugly and gross looking. In spite of that, I LOVE THIS MOVIE. I have it on DVD and whenever it comes on TCM I never miss seeing it. Glad to know that you're a fan!
