Thanks so much Molo14 and Fred- it was driving me crazy for most of the day!

This very strange story about the boy flying in the balloon over Colorado has reminded me of a movie I saw in which the same thing happened. But I can't remember the name! I think it's from the 60s and I think it's about a single mother. Anyway, the son is stuck in a meteorological balloon. I thought it might be Yours, Mine and Ours or something starring Doris Day. Does this ring a bell to anybody?
