That's a novelty. Fun to watch that little chiuaua. Thanks for sharing that

This one is from Broadway, 1934:

    Someday we'll go places

    New lands and faces

The Day we Quit punching the Clock

The future looks pleasant But At Present

    "______ ______ ______ _____ ______ _____ _______" 7 word title ??

Hm..that was a stretch, but very good. You have Paul Revere and the Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay.

Now, A #1 hit for Mary Welles My ____ baseball player, manager of the Braves ____ Harris French actress Brigette _____.

  3. An episode in a whodunnit from the late 50s featured a sleazy detective questioning an aging movie star whether she gave birth to a daughter and gave her up for adoption. His client's wife claims to be that daughter. A classic film star guests as the actress (who winds up dead).

Okay, I got my book out:

A musical from the '70s featured a song that harkened back to a Hollywood film of '34. A famous duo was contracted by MGM and came up with song, covered by just about everyone: Billie Holiday, Mel Torme, Bob Dylan and Beady Eye, even Elvis. The musical went to film in the late '70s.

What was the song title, musical and film?? Extra credit for naming the film of '34.

  5. You have the common thread with one exception, Walter Connnolly did't win an Oscar. It Happened One Night was the 1st film to take the five top honors:

Frank Capra's 1st film to follow- Broadway Bill

    Claudette Colbert's was Cleopatra

Clark Gable's was Men In White

    Robert Riskin's was Deeds

Good job! Now it's your thread.

  6.

Can't resist here. You have Phil Silvers stars as Sargeant Bilko in You'll Never Get Rich. My dad would laugh...oh my! and who can forget Doberman?

Leslie Caron starred in "The ___ Shaped Room" Rowan and Martin's ____ -In old adage "if the shoe ____" + Thomas Mitchell played ______ O'Hara in Gone With The Wind.
