  2. "She" had a face sweet as honey, first starting on broadway in the'20s. Her films in the 30's included a film that won her an Oscar nomination. Who is this dimpled sweetheart with a name that matches? Hint: Not a leading actress, her costars include Jean Arthur, Gene Tierney and her name reflects something really SLOW in coming??

  5. I found an earlier date, 1913 in Honeymoon Express "You Made Me Love You" by Al Jolson. Now, in The Jolson Story there is a song sung by and danced to by Larry Parks and Evelyn Keyes that appeared in a film 11 years prior to that sung by Jolson himself and danced by Ruby Keeler. Do you know the song?

  6. This Brooklyn born performer started his career as a part of a touring troupe in the Orient. As a performer trying to entertain with no knowledge of their language he learned his pantomime skills, slapstick and facial gestures that would later make him the loved performer he was. After returning to the US, he tried scratching a living in burlesque. He landed a job holding fans for Sally Rand after one got away from her while trying to swat a fly. Who was this entertaining great?

  7. The song that Judy sang in honor of Mr. Gable's 36th birthday was "You Made Me Love You". The movie that Harry James and Helen Forest performed in was Private Buckaroo of '42. Now, I have to ask, were the special lyrics in honor of Gable's birthday or another event?
