Good work,6's. Passing to you. Aside frome Tyrone Power who was rushed to the hospital and later died, the rest had accidents on the set. Thomas Mitchell was thrown from a carriage and suffered a fractured skull. Elizabeth Taylor fell from a horse and suffered a back injury, and Margaret Hamilton suffered severe burns on the set of WOZ when exiting Munchkinland.

Here goes my first attempt at these:
1) A young priest complies with the wishes of a parishioner.
2) Florida proprietor devises a scheme to save his business.
3) Romantic triangle involves a jealous boyfriend, a dancer and municiple official.
4) American and British POW's board a train destined for betrayal.
Also, chronological order with same actor.

Thanks for your eloquent answer! I am a fervent Downton Abbey fan too. Wouldn't it be loverly to have tea there? We can! (for a pretty pound or 2). Look up Highclere Castle sometime when you have the time. (That's the real name of Downton Abbey). It sits on an area larger than Central Park, in the family since the 17th centruy and has a worth of 150 million British pounds. Thanks to Charlie Chan in London which was the spark of Gosford Park. Cujas, enjoy your tea.

...and the Lady with the vessel with the brew that is true also appears in The Quiet Man. Good work. Take it from here.

Thanks for your good work. Perhaps my wording regarding Dorothy Lamour was ambiguous. She starred on screen (in many films) with Hope and Crosby's Road pictures. Your thread.

This sounds familiar. I'll try Loretta Young in Cause for Alarm??? It's been a really long time since I saw that movie but I do remember several scenes on her staircase.

You have the right movie. The Big Sleep is the answer to my question about the writers calling Raymond Chandler. Murder My Sweet is a different movie that starred Powell and THAT is the movie remade with Rbt Mitchum. The 70s movie went back to the title of Chandlers novel Farewell My Lovely. Your thread

name the movie
