My two favorite oldies for Hallowe'en are "The Uninvited" w/ Ray Milland, and the original "The Haunting" w/ Julie Harris. Both are in b&w, but great ghost stories that will raise chillbumps for those who don't care for the latest gore flicks. Another good ghost story, surprisingly a later addition to the genre, is "The Others" w/ Nicole Kidman. Rent these, if necessary, and make plenty of popcorn!
