I really need your help!!!- I watched a turner classic movie a few months back- I thought the actress was Joan Fontaine and the Actor was Henry Fonda but when I checked the listing of both the movie and the bio -did not match- It was about a plain woman who was staying at a cottage- a man was engaged to get married but he had enlisted in the war and for some reason he did not to get married to his fiance- He came back from the war kind of disfigured- the man and plain woman fell in love- the cottage that she is living at is a mysterious place and both of them do not see their personal imperfections- -one of there close friends who i think is blind (not sure) listens to there story but relates to them that their love hides their imperfections- I would like to love this movie I thought the blind man was played by Charles Coburn
