Racking my brain trying to remember title or actors in an old movie where a girl is brought to earth by an angel to be placed with a family. The prospective parents are selfish, the mother is an actress(?) that can't decide if she wants to retire & raise a family or keep acting. I only saw this film once, very long time ago. Hope I've remembered some of it correctly.
