I am looking for the title of a movie where the main character is a symphony conductor and thinks his wife is having an affair with a friend of theirs. In the movie he is fantasizing about different ways to kill her and all I can really remember is that he keeps falling through the seat of a wicker chair that he stands on to get a reel to reel taping device down from a shelf. I don't remember who the actors are. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
