If you could ask Katharine Hepburn a question....

Well, I can tell you that Spence had dinner every Sunday with his wife and children. Being Catholic, I can tell you that his staying married was part of his cultural conditioning. His son was deaf and his wife devoted herself to a foundation to educate deaf children. Tracy was very proud of her and financed the whole thing. After his death, Tracy's daughter and Kate became very close. Edited by: cujas on Jul 3, 2010 4:15 PM -

I just a girl who can't say no, I liked Robert Sterling very much. In the '60's he had a cute, short-runned, TV show called "Ichabod & Me". Sans Miss Jeffreys.

But Patrick Mc Goohan became TV's "Secret Agent Man", immortalized in song by Rock's Johnny Rivers.

This has been dormant for a few days. I'd like to pick it up. What film did Hitch consider not to be characteristic of his work at all? Even though it is his director's credit, a classic and a film people identify with his reputation.

Kate was married once. Tracy had "dated" lots of other women, while still married, before he met Kate. (ie Loretta Young) And Kate had "dated" lots of other men before.(ie Howard Hughes) Their situation makes sense in a different time and place, where cultural judgments were far different than today. -

Mr. 6--Carole Lombard is correct and Harry Stradling is one of the best. But he knew what to do with her because her cinematographer Ted Tetzlaff had told him. From 1935 to 1938 Ted worked with Carole on 8 pictures, including *My Man Godfrey* ('36), *Hands Across the Table* ('35), and *Fools for Scandal* ('38), *The Princess Comes Across* ('36). He is credited with giving her the confidence to pursue her career despite the scar and with her look on screen. Mr. 6, you gave us the correct information about the actress and the name of another great cinematographer--All in all, a good Job! Take it away--

Thanx--let me put on my thinking cap here. What Cinematographer was virtually indispensable, to what movie star actress because he could virtually erase a defect on her otherwise exquisitely beautiful face? For fun, can you also name a few of their movies together? Edited by: cujas on Jul 2, 2010 4:07 PM Edited by: cujas on Jul 2, 2010 4:10 PM
