  3. This cinematographer was a genius at technicolor; so it stands to reason, that his home studio had the top reputation for their style of technicolor. Hint: The lady in the tuttifuitti hat.
  4. Hooray for Hollywood! next: These two guys were MGM executives who didn't spend a lot of time worrying about scripts or story ideas. Their main jobs were covering-up any serious scandal--we're talking about felonies such as, murder or vehicular homicide here--that may have involved a major Metro star. Word was they knew where the bodies were buried and who really had committed the deed.

  12. I've watched *Heaven Can Wait* many times and it always makes me cry. *Ball Of Fire*--saw it once last month--so boring, had a hard time getting through it. But Allen Jenkins was very funny--thought the old codgers were boring and dated. The gangster angle was a bit cliched too. But, of course, the 2 Movie Stars shined throughout.
  13. "It Only Happens When I Dance With You"--that was Astaire and Ann Miller's song and dance in *Easter Parade*. She was his dance partner when the movie opens. She goes off on her own--and they do another dance for old time sake at the top of the Wintergarden.
  14. Rod Taylor was in *The Time Machine* with Alan Young. Edited by: cujas on Apr 18, 2011 3:34 PM
